The Dandelion of the Dead

The Dandelion of the Dead

A dandelion standing there,
alone in miles on green land,
fighting against the breeze of wind, it isn't fair,
when all of its kind are buried in deep brown sand.

Now one of a million, it is rare,
trying to remain out of touch,
but as we all know, life isn't fair,
and every flower dies eventually, we know that much.

So how can we protect those valuable seeds?
How can we stop the unavoidable fate?
How can we fulfill all its needs?
When it is perhaps already too late.

Even if the truth is there and our hearts say no,
it's destiny is for the seeds to flow,
so we have to accept it, we have to let go,
so that from its origin new dandelions might grow.
